Duhon staying with Bulls

     Point guard Chris Duhon will stay in a Bulls uniform.

     The team officially matched a three-year, $9.07-million offer sheet from
the Toronto Raptors on Monday morning, according to a league source.

     Duhon becomes the first Bulls free agent to sign a contract this summer.
The team is still negotiating with restricted free agents Tyson Chandler, Eddy
 Curry and Jannero Pargo, and also with unrestricted free agents Othella
Harrington and Adrian Griffin.

     The Bulls came alive last season when Duhon, a rookie from Duke, joined
the starting lineup. After the Bulls began the year with nine straight losses
, Duhon became a starter and the team went 47-26 the rest of the way.

     Duhon averaged 5.9 points, 4.9 assists and played excellent defense during
 his first NBA season, but shot just 35.2 percent from the field.
