Christina Aguilera's Labor Day weekend certainly wasn't what a girl wants.
First, Aguilera lost her Grammy-winning voice, forcing her to cancel a
much-anticipated appearance at New York's State Fair Sunday night.
Then, to make matters worse for the young songstress, some people broke
into her tour bus and stole golf clubs, pyrotechnics and a gym bag. All
told the swiped stuff was worth more than $1,000.
Authorities said none of the lost items directly belonged to the 19-
year-old bubblegum popster.
Two Syracuse University frat boys, who had been partying on the bus
with some of Aguilera's roadies, were charged with larceny and burglary,
police said. The bus had been parked outside a hotel near the campus.
Aguilera, who apart from a bleached-blond mane and a bare midriff, is
best known for her hits "Genie in a Bottle," "I Turn to You" and "What
a Girl Wants" off her multiplatinum rookie release, will likely
reschedule the fair concert, but no dates have been announced.
The former Mouseketeer is releasing her first Spanish-language album,
Mi Reflejo, on September 12.
