    Spring Suite(1979)

      Spring Suite is a colourful depiction of the  customs
    of different regions,conveyed with all the vigour of
    spring. The first of the five movement,Azalea Blooming,
    welcomes the new season,as azaleas flower on the
    mountain-sides and in the fields. Fine Horses Galloping
    reminds us that the season is good for racing,as the
    herdsmen ride their fine horses,galloping over the vast
    grasslands. Early Spring in the Miao Mountains brings
    the singing of birds,with the sound of the native reed-
    pipe,the lusheng,and the plucked notes of the yueqin,
    an expression of the love people have for their own
    country. Green Fields in the River Country presents the
    the green countryside like a great scroll-painting.
    The suite ends Grand Festival by the Tianshan Mountains,
    as various ethnic groups gather together at the foot of
    the great mountains to celebrate spring. The girls dance
    and the boys sing and everyone rejoices.


    [春天組曲]是一首描寫各個地區不同的民俗風情，在春天所展現的活力。

     第一樂章：杜鵑花開
               滿山滿野的杜鵑盛開怒放，以迎接這新的一季。

     第二樂章：駿馬奔馳
               春天是一個適合賽馬的時節，牧人騎著他們的駿馬奔馳在廣大的草原上。

     第三樂章：苗嶺春早
               用當地原住民的樂器蘆笙、月琴，表達春天的鳥語花香及人們民族情感。

     第四樂章：水鄉綠野
               展現水鄉的平疇綠野，像一幅美麗的山水圖畫。

     第五樂章：天山盛會
               各民族齊聚在天山山麓，慶祝春天的來臨，
               男女歡唱、舞蹈，人人歡欣讚美。
