[請益] 攸關憂鬱症的問題

記得之前在Scientific Mind上
有讀到一篇文章，關於Depression's Evolutionary Roots

裡面講到三個重點:
1.The brain’s ability to enter a depressed state has been preserved throughout
  evolution, suggesting that depression is an adaptation
2.Depression promotes focused rumination about problems. People in this state
  of mind are better at solving complex social dilemmas
3.Effective therapies encourage patients to engage in rumination, allowing them
  to find solutions to their problems and end their depressive episode
我有一個奇怪的想法，如果 5HT1A receptor, which binds Serotonin
是人類腦演化上，  我們的方式，讓我捫在孤獨中處理自己的情緒，以免神經過度
緊繃，讓我捫能不受干擾，繼續沉思這個讓人憂鬱問題，而且是集中性的去思索
其中的意義。ensuring the rumination continues uninterrupted.

如果繼續沉思，或許會探討到人自由意志的問題，進而得到開悟
如果不幸，沒有得到開悟，那麼就必須靠藥物治療，以輔助正常生活

但是在人腦科學研究上，這些機制其實是來保護人類的，就像發燒一樣
在Pain, the Gift No Body Wants (by Dr. Paul Barnd) 一書中，告訴我捫
疼痛其實是上帝(well, 保羅信神)給我們的保護機制，就像憂鬱症其實是人
腦進化中對我們的保護機制一樣

那麼，在台灣流行的 Scientology
是要把我們所有的情緒羈絆全部去除，用理性，邏輯，來分析世界上的一切
達到人類自我實現之最高目的! 一切以自我出發，漸漸擴大。
這其實是一種自私自利之後再利己利人的策略
Scientology 的總結就是，一切以理性及邏輯出發，從沒有犧牲機制。
我覺得這其實是ㄧ種偽宗教，因為在美國他也是非常受爭議

理性與感性，是否是我們人類必須具備的天賦? 缺一不可，少一則憾
問到後來，科學與藝術其實是一體的兩面，互補互成

理性=科學
感性=藝術

如果我們光用科學，而沒有美與內涵，人文的價值，那麼這樣的科學是醜陋的
如果我們光用藝術，而沒有科學為輔，那麼易流於，人云亦云無獨立思考的坑

憂鬱症是否就像，腦進化中的自殺機制
就像下棋的時候，我捫往往要贏，但有1%的時候
堵死自己一片棋，反而可以帶來柳暗花明又一村!
為人類的歷史里程碑上，開創前所未有的前景
因為苦難，帶給我們成長，帶給我們對生命更深的體悟
這種自殺性的美，犧牲自我的美，其實就是藝術!
因為我們人類有情感，能有高尚的追求，而非完全訴諸於理性與邏輯，因此成其為人!
