是 Schleiermacher
Allgemeine Hermeneutik （一般詮釋學）的宗師
Erlebnis（體驗）在詮釋學傳統（自 Schleiermacher以降，如 Dilthey, Heidegger,
Gadamer, Apel, Ricoeur等等）中是很重要的概念，而尤以 Dilthey為然
他的詮釋學一般被稱為「體驗詮釋學」
許多承繼 Kant 的人認為，藝術之美乃由「天才」而來，而
「天才」又與 Erlebnis 焦孟不離。
要簡單解釋的話 Erlebnis 可以說是
Erlebnis means the experience of having lived through something
(not necessarily painful). As distinct from "Erfahrung," a
knowledge which can be gathered also from others, das Erlebte
is always first-hand, always "das Selbserlebte."
Erlebnis signifies not only the process of acquisition, moreover,
but also the residual contrent of what is so acquired--that is,
both the immediacy of the origin of an experience and its lasting
significance.
