      HT: 6'1",  WT:  240 lbs.,  B/T: L/R,  Pos: C/OF

Body: Schwarber has a strong husky frame and is built like a linebacker --
which he was in high school -- but he is extremely light-footed for his size
and moves very well.

Hitting Mechanics:  Kyle starts with a wide-crouched open stance and keeps his
hands in just below his shoulders.  His bat starts straight up and is very
still.  He starts his swing with a step toward home plate, closing his front
shoulder and hip.  His load is a big rolling load which is common with LH
hitters.  His swing path is direct and short to the ball, following the ball's
path, generating lift and drive through the ball.  This also allows him to
drive the ball to all fields.

Hitting/Power Tool: Schwarber shows a very good approach at the plate for a
hitter at the college level.  He shows plus power potential to all fields and
his sweet spot seems to be to left-center field.  He isn't just a power guy, he
can really hit.  He shows a plus hit tool and uses the whole field.  Will he
strikeout?  Yes, but most power hitters do.  Kyle will have his share of Ks but
he will also have his share of walks.

Base Running:  He isn't a burner but he isn't going to clog the bases either.
 He is a slightly below average runner but he is very smart on the bases, which
may help play up the speed to around average.  He reads pitchers and situations
well, allowing him to take the extra base when the opportunity presents.

Defense:  I am going to break this up into catcher and outfield.

        Catcher:He is an average defensive catcher.  He shows good receiving
                skills and moves well behind the plate.He doesn't have a huge
                arm but makes up for it with a quick release.I think he could
                stick at catcher at first but wouldeventually have to move off
                of it.

        Outfield:Again an average to slightly below averagein OF and he is best
                 suited to play LF.  He did play some of it in college so it
                 is not new to him. He takes OK routes to the ball and shows
                 an average arm in the OF.  He needs some work but should be
                 adequate in LF.

Summary: Schwarber is a middle of the order hitter with the capability of
hitting .290-.310 with 30+ HRs.  He will be an average defender wherever he
plays.  He is an excellent complement to Kris Bryant in the lineup for the
future, giving them back to back impact bats.

Hit: 55/65

Power: 60/70

Speed: 50/40

Arm: 50/50

Defense: 40/50 (at both catcher and OF)
