4下Marshall遇到亂流,Cedeno關鍵的雙殺讓傷害減到最輕,2:2
5上以一波5安打的攻勢搶下4分,6:2,6上2安打再追加2分,8:2

Marshall 雖然帳面的數字表現不太好看, 不過都還ok
上星期天對上紅鳥的比賽, 攝影機有照到他五局遇到亂流下場後, Maddux 跟他交談的
畫面。
Maddux 說:
"Anytime you see a pitcher screw up, you're like, 'Oh, I did that,' You know
how you've screwed up in the past. I try to give him and all the guys a heads-
up. Experience is screwing up and not screwing up the same way again. That's
all experience is.''
後來 Dusty Baker 也說在一個新人的 debut 就遇上紅雀這樣的強隊是難為他了, 尤其
是在全國觀眾的注目下(這場有全國轉撥)。Maddux 也稱讚他那天的表現。
今天他拿到了生涯首勝恭喜他!

Ramirez
的揮棒機制似乎對他的身體造成了很大的負擔。
His tendency to go extra hard with his swing might have contributed to a
sore upper left leg muscle that sidelined the third baseman for the previous
two games.
他說他總是很用力地擊球, 接下來他會盡力而為的揮棒就好。
而來到 Pittburgh, 他總會感到有點憐憫感觸, 畢竟這裡是他職業生涯的起點。
海盜在1994年簽下他, 直到2003因為無法負擔他成為 FA 之後的價錢而來到了小熊。
