我是不清楚美國是否有國父的概念
不過確實有很多地方可以看到用"Father of his Country"
"Father of his Nation"
來稱呼他
例如 美國國家公園管理處的官方網站
就使用"Father of his Country" 來形容華盛頓
裡面是提到
Alone among the Founders of the United States George Washington
earned the title "Father of his Country"
in recognition of his leadership in the cause of American
independence.

也被土耳其人稱為 "Father of Turkey"土耳其之父
不過當然 主張政教合一的反對份子不會承認這個尊稱
