一般上的外國雜誌在提到台灣或兩岸關係(**)時, mainland可以拿來直指中國.

note: (**)不要告訴我"兩岸關係"又是不對的用法, 因為兩岸
可以指英倫海峽兩岸, 馬六甲海峽兩岸, ..etc.
