Q4 -- Why does THSRC want to include 15 Emergency Lights?

新幹線的駕駛員在駕駛室只要面對八個緊急燈號，台灣高鐵因加入歐洲系統，總燈號數高
達十五個，比日系繁雜很多。
There are only 8 signal lights in driving cabin for Shinkansen, but there are
up to 15 lights in THSRC’s design, which is a lot more complicated compared
with the Japanese design.
FACTS and CORRECTIONS
1. More emergency lights means more useful information for the drivers.
2. In the event of emergency situations, it is important for the driver and OCC
to be given quick and accurate information i.e., the driver will be given more
detailed information at the critical moment.
3. As in any railway system, THSRC has designed the train in accordance with
the THSR operation concept and appropriate operation rules will be developed to
ensure proper handling of all the information.
