Contax Planar 50mm/1.7 is the first lens I ever used on my Yashica FX-3
SLR.

Now I use it on my Canon 350D DSLR. I still love this lens.

The lens has a superb optic and coating. The manual focus ring is smooth.

I use a Kindai EOS-CY adaptor. But it is very hard to focus it

because of the small viewfinder.

I wish I could get a 5D.
