1992年的Wish，1996年的Wild Mood Swings，2000的Bloodflowers，一一排
列下來，也許2004年是新專輯發行的日子？相較於80年代，The Cure在90的
十年間，發行專輯的速度明顯地慢了下來，而21世紀都過了三年了，對於樂
迷而言，新專輯卻還是一直沒有發行的消息，儘管前年發行了新版的精選
Greatest Hits，CD 2的Acoustic版本與DVD中的身影暫時的滿足了期待，今
年六月發行的Trilogy DVD也使得歐洲之外的樂迷能夠螢幕上看到The Cure
的現場，但是新專輯卻還是遙遙無期，只能看到Robert在一些電音專輯中受
邀擔任guest vocal，每次聽著他們的上一張作品時總會想到這已經是那麼
久以前了，甚至於是宇宙城還在的時候。2004年預計會發行Join the Dots
這套4CD的boxset，收錄樂隊大部分的b-sides與rarities，同時所有的專輯
也將發行remastered的新版本，The Cure的新專輯是否也會伴隨著這些禮物
一起發行成為所有樂迷心中的疑問之一。
昨天Robert友人的朋友，在某討論群組上表示，The Cure已經錄好部分的歌
曲，但是團員對於選曲仍有疑問，意見也各不相同，有團員認為不應那麼快
的趕出作品 (他沒說是不是Robert) (四年哪叫快呀 -_-) 樂迷明年能聽到
新專輯的機率不大，不過很有可能在2005年發行。(突然想到下一張不會是
2010年吧....算了，還會有新專輯就好)

and they are now in the process of choosing tracks for the album.
However, the members have different opinions on which tracks to
choose or even the tracks' titles. Some of the members suggest
that it is not the right time to release their works yet.
Which means it is more likely that the album will be released in 2005."
