[歐冠] Irureta的看法

Deportivo and AC Milan are not strangers to each other. The Italians

have always won at Riazor (0-1, 0-4), although Depor have never lost

at San Siro (1-1, 1-2). Thus, Milan was not the best possible rival

for Depor, but both players and officials from the Galician club remain

confident that they could make history once again by reaching the

semi-finals.


Depor coach Jabo Irureta admits: "I know it's a very difficult tie,

because Milan is going through a very good spell in their league and

they're the current European champions. But I hope we can go through,

since we're fine playing Italian teams". He also says that: "The tie

will revolve around the result in the first match".


Among other issues, Irureta highlighted that it is good to play in Milan

first, but only "If the result there is relatively good, because playing

the second leg at home is of no use if you're heavily defeated in the

first one", he says. The coach adds: "I do like the order of the games in

this particular tie".
