THE PLAYERS OF DEPORTIVO WILL TRY TO REDUCE THE DIFFERENCE WITH REAL MADRID
AND VALENCIA. 

The players of Deportivo returned this Monday to La Coruna with their moral at
the top after the victory against Albacete, now the attention is on the next
match against Osasuna at Riazor, also the game between Real Madrid and Valencia
at Bernabeu stadium will be followed, it could mean the opportunity to be more
close to the first place in La Liga.

Cesar Martin have trust in the performance of his team, he thinks that if
Deportivo get a win this Sunday it will be the confirmation of the chances of
Depor to fight the title with Real Madrid and Valencia, "After the victory
against Albacete we keep our chances alive, we have to keep ourselves in the
top places, with the game between Real Madrid and Valencia this weekend we will
see if we can approach to both of them". The central defenders is concentrated
now in the next game and expects a tough match at the Riazor: "The important
thing now is to win against Osasuna, they are a complicate team that wouldn't
give us much chances but, we have to be strong at home".

Lionel Scaloni, the scorer of the first goal in the last game is satisfied with
 the three points against Albacete: "I have a great joy for wining that match a
nd for the fact of been one of the scorers, the important thing was that we won
 that match, we needed the points to maintain the difference with the two
leaders". The Argentinean player thinks that the games of this weekend are a
opportunity to reduce differences and that the team don't have to fail in
taking advantage of it, "The leaders will play between them and one of this
squads will lose, in the other case they could have a draw, we could gain space
and be more close to both of them , this will be very important, maybe we
didn't play too well in Albacete but, we won, we have a good chance to get near
to the leaders on this match day and we must take advantage of it because,
after that we will have difficult games".

Finally Scaloni thinks that La Liga is a matter of three teams: "I don't want
to discard anybody, but the title is a thing of three squads, it's very
difficult that other club could reach any of this three, I don't know who will
be first, we are in very equal situation, we have to play between us and that
games will be very important, we will have to wait to the last games to see
what happens"

Coach Javier Irureta is with the feeling that the Galician team have options to
 reduce differences, also he is respectful whit the qualities of his next
rival: "Is a week in which the two teams that are over us can't win and can't
lose at the same time, also we will have a though match in our home, we will
play against Osasuna, a team that is the revelation on this season, it's very
difficult to score against them, they are capable of wining games away of their
stadium, as they did against Valencia."
