Osasuna have conceded 6 goals in 11 away games. This is only one more
than Valencia. Their attack is not as good as Valencia's. However, they
still are able to score. On these premises, Osasuna have managed to get
three away wins and six draws, and they have only lost twice far from
home. They may not have many stars, but they can certainly give a good
headache to any team.
Midfielder Victor is very clear: "It'll be a difficult game, because
it's a tricky rival. Osasuna is a very serious team, and they're well
organized. Maybe they are not going through their best moment, but
they don't have any pressure and they can play good football".
Playmaker Valeron is of the same opinion: "It doesn't really matter
what happens at the Bernabeu with Real Madrid and Valencia if we
don't defeat Osasuna. Now we have the chance to close the gap with
the leaders, and we have to take advantage of that. We have to win
this game". Valeron goes on: "We can expect a difficult match,
against a rival that can play good football".
On the other hand, Cesar has finally recovered from his muscle
problems and is ready to play tomorrow. Once again, he will play
alongside Portuguese Andrade in the centre of the defence. Yet,
another defender, Manuel Pablo, is not fit to just yet. The
fullback remains optimist, but his condition does not improve
as quickly as he expected. "Yesterday I was feeling better, even
though it was a light training session. Today I'll push it a bit
harder and I'll see if I'm ready or not", he said.
