MAURO THINKS THEY’LL GET INTO THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
As the squad wants to forget the bad experience coming back from Trondheim,
midfielder Mauro Silva expressed he felt optimist in relation to the tie.
He said that "After 0-0 - which is a somewhat a dangerous result - I think we
have a good chance to qualify." He admits that a scoreless draw is not a
particularly good result, but it is also true that some players were a bit
apprehensive in relation to the game in Norway. Mauro says: "Before going there
we were a bit worried because they were physically stronger. But we knew how to
work out the game, although it was very physical, and we were able to get a
decent result so now we can decide in Riazor. I think that the home factor will
be decisive. I want solve this at home."
However, in the home game it will be not enough with showing a good defensive
record, but it will be necessary to score goals. In fact, Depor needs to win.
Mauro says: "We have to be very focused, and we have to play with lots of
illusion and determination. For us this is a crucial game, because if we don’t
win there won’t be any Champions League."
