Closer Byung-Hyun Kim might get an opportunity to become a starter in 2003,
The Arizona Republic reported Oct. 8.

"He's been a very effective closer for us, but it's good to keep an open mind
about this thing," GM Joe Garagiola Jr. told the newspaper.
 "It's probably something we'll go to Tucson (next spring) with
an open mind about and see where it takes us."
