Hinch said top prospect Justin Upton is set to make his professional debut today in Class A South Bend at his new position in center field. Hinch said the 18-year-old has been swinging the bat well in extended spring training, feeling no ill effects of a shoulder injury that kept him from beginning the season with South Bend. Hinch also said center fielder Chris Young is close to making his organizational debut, perhaps this weekend in Triple-A Tucson. Young, acquired from the White Sox in the Javier Vazquez trade, missed spring training after undergoing right wrist surgery in February." The D'Backs have said that they will keep Upton at the same level for the whole season to help him adjust to the daily grind of pro baseball but I wouldn't be too shocked if he dominates the Midwest League and reaches High A Lancaster in the 2nd half of the season. What do you all think? How long will Upton need in the minor leagues before he reaches the Majors in his new position? -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 203.203.194.12
deejaylife:依他春訓的狀況,放他整季都在high A應該沒問題的。 04/22 09:19
