The Diamondbacks announced on Friday that catcher Miguel Montero and
right-hander Matt Chico have been named the organization's Minor League
Player and Pitcher of the Month, respectively, for April. Montero hit
.297 with five homers and 20 RBIs with a .581 slugging percentage for
Double-A Tennessee, and Chico went 2-1 with a 1.53 ERA in five starts
for Class A Lancaster
