23. Carlos Quentin- OF Ariz (8/28/82) It was a tough choice deciding which
Arizona outfield prospect I liked best. I ended up going with Quentin. He's a
better all around player with more power potential and has a very strong arm,
making him a natural fit in right fielder. He should follow closely behind
Jackson to the Majors.


30. Conor Jackson- OF Ariz (5/7/82) His bat didn't miss a beat after being
moved to the outfield in 2004. He has a great batting eye and that will allow
him to reach his full hitting potential. Jackson is an excellent pure hitter
and he's a good enough athlete where his defense in the outfield should
improve. I'm also expecting good power from him. The combination of Jackson
and Quentin on this list reminds me a lot of the Reds' duo (Kearns and Dunn)
of a couple years ago.


69. Sergio Santos- SS Ariz (7/4/83) Santos has been on the prospect map since
early in his high school days in southern California. He's made steady
progress as a pro, though he's not yet played to the level some were
expecting. He's also facing the possibility of outgrowing the shortstop
position.


71. Chris Snyder- C Ariz (2/12/81) Got his first taste of the Majors last
summer and is primed to take over as the D-Backs starting catcher?Koyie Hill
or no Koyie Hill. Snyder can hit some long balls and is very solid across the
board defensively. Don't look for more than a .260 average, but what he does
offer more than makes up for that. He's one of the more underrated players in
the Minors.
