: A reliever in his first two college seasons, Smith made a seamless transition
: to the rotation this spring, highlighted by a scoreless streak of 28 2/3
: innings in Southeastern Conference play. His plus curveball remains his best
: pitch, and he also has a lively 89-90 mph fastball and a decent changeup.
: While he has the repertoire, command and delivery to succeed as a pro starter,
: some scouts wonder if he might be more useful coming out of the bullpen. Last

  大學前兩年都當中繼投手的他，到了今年毫無困難的排進了先發輪值圈，最亮眼
的表顯示在東南聯盟連續 28又 2/3局未失分。他強力的曲球仍然是他最強的球種，
他還有一個會跑的 89-90mph的直球，以及不錯的變速球。

他已經成長的差不多了，會直接變成一個職業等級的先發投手，有些球探認為他可能
在牛棚會有用處。去年他在牛棚中繼的時候，投到 90-93 mph。雖然史密斯沒有像其
他他隊友一般接受過大手術，他還是有一些健康上的疑慮。在他大一秋季練習的時候，
醫生在他的心臟內找到了一個小洞。不過這對他沒造成什麼影響，所以應該不會影響
到他的選秀順位。

推 afronova:心臟分兩房兩室，兩房間及兩洞間在胎兒是打開的
→ afronova:出生前後會關起來，但是有些人會沒關好留下小洞
→ afronova:可大可小，有的會有後遺症有的不會。
推 randycox:應該就是瓣膜，不開刀血液會逆流，這算小手術
