The Diamondbacks and center fielder Chris Young have agreed to terms on a
contract extension that runs through at least 2013
The deal, which is expected to be announced Tuesday, is believed to be worth
about $28 million over the next five seasons and includes a team option for
2014
It covers his arbitration seasons (2010-12) and, if the option is picked up,
will lock him up for what would have been his first two free-agent years
