Gonzo決定若球季後的MRI檢查出傷勢並未痊癒，
將會進行Tommy John手術以根治問題，
他有信心手術不會影響到明年球季。
Sexson
Sexson本週開始受傷後的第一個打擊練習，
並且他認為不久後就能回到場上，
而他一離開DL，Hairston就會回到AAA，
Brenly則說Hairston在這次客場征戰中最起碼會先發兩次。

但今天Colangelo跳出來澄清這個謠言，
並且希望大個"to retire as a Diamondback"。

Mantei近來狀況連連，有些心灰意懶，
甚至考慮要退休，不過他也知道這只是一時心裡不平所帶來的消極。
而這些年的傷病不斷，他認為當RP頻繁的出賽是原因之一，
因此他很認真的考慮要轉為先發投手。
他說:
“I love closing. Don't get me wrong. But at the same time,
I'd like to throw one day and have four days off.”
當Garagiola被問到是否續簽Mantei作為SP時，
他的回應是:
“I like to think I'm open-minded and if this is something he really
wanted to talk about seriously, at the appropriate time we'll
talk about it.”
