【神秘島】（Mysterious Island）這個園區的設計靈感是來自於法國知名的
作家 Jules Verne 的同名著作，這位１９世紀末的法國作家曾寫過不少經典
冒險小說，例如膾炙人口的《環遊世界８０天》…等等。在他原來著作中【神
秘島】這個島是定位在１８６０年代的一個南太平洋火山島，『東京迪士尼海
洋』的【神秘島】就是依照書中的情況來設計的，在這裡遊客還可以參加驚險
刺激的地心遠征，探索海洋深邃的奧秘。
