昨天Panel結束後 目前傳出來的消息
喜劇部分:
"30 Rock"、"2.5 Men"所報名的episode受到好評
"Weeds"、"The Office"、"My name is Earl"、"Scrubs"則否
One Emmy judge's view: Socko entries by '2 1/2 Men' & '30 Rock'
"'Two and a Half Men' and '30 Rock' really nailed their submissions — the
place went nuts," an Emmy judge reports on a panel weighing comedy episodes.
(One sample is submitted by all Top 10 finalists.) "Can't say the same about
'Weeds,' 'The Office,' 'My Name is Earl' and most of all 'Scrubs.' I don't
understand what the hell 'The Office' and 'Earl' were thinking."
Turns out "Earl" did not submit "The Trial" episode, as we had presumed. It's
unclear what producers did submit. Still waiting to hear back from that judge
with more details. Also, we don't know what episode of "Men" he's referring
to.
We do know that he's referring specifically to these other episodes:
The Office ("The Coup")
Scrubs ("My Musical")
Thirty Rock ("Hard Ball")
Weeds ("Cooking with Jesus")
It's a shockeroo that "My Musical" is going over so poorly with this judge.
TV critics gushed over it earlier this year, but it's gimmicky: a patient
imagines the hospital staff performing musical song-and-dance numbers. "The
Coup" was well received by critics, too — Steve Carell's character Michael
imagines that Dwight is scheming to take over his job when Michael gets in
trouble for showing movies to the staff.

Based upon his appraisal of the 10 sample episodes evaluated this weekend at
Emmy screenings, one judge believes that these five contenders should make
the final lineup for best comedy series: "Desperate Housewives," "Entourage,"
"30 Rock," "Two and a Half Men" and "Ugly Betty."
