1. A 在公司當會計，作薪資帳時，想將同事們的一些薪水偷轉入自己的帳戶。有 1/3
  的機率，A 會被逮到。此時 A 若偷轉了 $z，除了陪同是 $z 以外，還要另被罰款
  $z^2。令 x、y 表示 A 未被抓到與被抓到時的財富。A 為風險厭惡者。

  (a)(1分) 若在 x-y 平面上繪 A 之無異曲線，(100,100) 之 MRS(≡dy/dx)為何？

  (b)(1分) 實際上， y 如何隨 x 之改變而改變呢？請將 y 寫為 x 的函數。

  (c)(2分) 請問 A 會偷轉帳嗎？


2. B 廠商的生產函數為：

                         y = L^(1/2)

  其中 L 為勞動力， y 為產出數量。 B 為價格接受者，勞動力與產品的價格分別為
  w 與 p 。

  (a)(1分) 請導出 B 的勞動力需求函數 L(w;p)。

  (b)(2分) 請導出 B 的邊際成本函數 MC(y;w)。


3.Suppose that reckless driving imposes costs (in the form of medical bills)
  on both the drivers themselves and on pedestrians. Each mile of driving
  costs drivers $1 and pedestrians $0.25. The marginal value to a driver of
  his/her reckless driving, MV, decreases with the miles of reckless driving.
  Please put "miles of reckless driving" on the horizontal axis and "$ per
  mile" on the vertical axis and answer the following problems.

  (a)(1分) Draw the MV line on your graph, and indicate how many miles of
     reckless driving a driver will have.

  (b)(1分) On the graph, show the dollar amount of medical bills to
     pedestrians caused from one driver.

  (c)(2分) Suppose drivers are interested in buying air bags. With air bags,
     the cost to drivers of their reckless driving will decrease from $1 to
     $0.5 per mile. The cost to pedestrians remains $0.25 per mile. Should we
     tax or subsidize an air bag? and by how much?
