Tsao coming to town: Right-handed reliever Chin-hui Tsao, who was the bullpen
closer in early 2005 but has not pitched since suffering a shoulder injury in
May of that season, will visit the Rockies Nov. 15-20 to see if he can resume
his career.
Tsao, 25, whose fastball reached 100 mph before he suffered a rotator cuff
injury that required surgery, couldn't return despite rehabbing for most of
the 2006 season. The current issue is his biceps tendon. Currently, Tsao is
in his home country of Taiwan and is under orders to continue resting the arm.
