Chin-hui Tsao, who was expected to be the closer as the Rockies headed to
spring training, developed right shoulder stiffness the first time he pitched
after being named for the job and wound up on the disabled list. Then the
Rockies dealt for the struggling Kim, and pitching coach Bob Apodaca admitted
that he is in line to close out games.
