: DENVER -- One struggling month into the season, the Rockies' bullpen finds
:  itself back where it started the season. Closer Chin-hui Tsao is back on
:  the disabled list with shoulder soreness. Left-hander Brian Fuentes is
:  filling in as closer, but manager Clint Hurdle would like to find a
:  right-handed option. If you've heard that before, you have; this was the
:  situation on Opening Day.

進入本季這個掙扎的月份，洛磯隊的牛棚再度回到本季初的狀況，
終結者小曹因為肩傷回到了傷兵名單。左投 Brian fuentes則會入替這個角色，
不過經理 Clint Huredle 則想要找個右投手作為選擇。
如果你之前曾經聽過那件事，你會知道：這就是開幕戰那天的情況。

: After making his 2005 debut on April 13, Tsao (1-0, 6.55 ERA) went 3-for-4
:  in his save chances. Other relieves had blown all eight save chances going
:  into Friday night's game against the Diamondbacks at Coors Field. The nine
:  total blown saves led the Majors and was a key reason Colorado entered the
:  night with the National League's worst record at 9-23.

在2005年4月13號的第一次出賽後，小曹在他的4次救援機會中有成功守成三次的結果。
其他的救援投手在包含禮拜五於 Coors Field 對抗響尾蛇隊之內，
則已經總共搞砸了八次救援機會。

: The closer job has been in flux since Jose Jimenez, the most successful
:  closer in Rockies history, struggled in the role during the 2003 season.
:  Tsao appeared to be as close as the Rockies could come to an answer until
:  he experienced tightness in his last two appearances.

Jose Jimenez 是洛磯隊隊史上最成功的終結者，
自從 Jimenez 在2003球季在終結者角色上痛苦掙扎，這個角色就一直是個變數。

: In his last outing, when he blew a save but got the decision in Colorado's
:  6-5 victory over the Braves on Wednesday, Tsao's fastball velocity dipped
: by about 10 mph. When Tsao cut short a throwing session and walked off the
: field, worriedly stretching and shrugging the shoulder, the Rockies were
: left making other plans for the ninth.

在他上一次的出賽，星期三對抗勇士隊，在他搞砸救援但最後拿到勝投之時，
小曹的快速球球速下降了大約10mph。
當時小曹中斷了一個投球的會議並且一邊憂愁地伸展肩膀與聳肩，一邊走出場外，

: "We just don't see how it makes any sense if there's any discomfort at this
:  point in time to crank him up to throw again [on Saturday]," Hurdle said.
:  "He'll stay on the strengthening program with the medication that he's
:  going to be on, and hopefully this will get him through it."

Hurdle說：如果小曹有任何不舒適之處，我們真的看不出有何必要在這個時間點
          要求他加快練習並且在星期六再度投球。
          他將會在一個強化計畫中接受他將要進行的治療，
          並且希望這次他能通過這個計畫。

: Head trainer Keith Dugger said Tsao would be evaluated on Friday night by
: the Rockies' medical staff. An MRI for further findings could be in Tsao's
:  future.

Keith Dugger，首席訓練員，說小曹在星期五晚上會由洛磯隊的醫療團隊進行評估。
將來對小曹進行一個 MRI 作進一步的檢驗是有可能的。

: Tsao had been one of the Rockies' top starting pitching prospects, but
:  repeated health concerns -- starting with an elbow surgery in 2001 and
:  continuing last season and this with repeated shoulder woes -- led Colorado
:  to make him the closer, in hopes of getting the most out of him.

小曹曾經是洛磯隊頂尖潛力新秀中的先發投手之一，但是他一直重複有健康問題。

: Health has been elusive for Tsao this season. He has hit 100 mph on some
:  deliveries this season, but Hurdle has had to be careful with his workload

: Hurdle was intentionally vague about who the candidates are for the
:  right-handed closer option, although he did rule out Byung-Hyun Kim.
:  While it's true Kim pitched five strong innings in a spot start on
:  Wednesday, Hurdle sees little sense in throwing him into the closer role
:  until he demonstrates consistency.

Hurdle 對於，誰會是這個右投手終結者的候選人，這樣的問題故意地模糊以對，
儘管他確定排除了 Byung-Hyun Kim。
儘管 Kim 真的在星期三先發投了強勢的五局，Hurdle 認為：

: An option sometime soon could be Scott Dohmann, who saw some ninth-inning
:  work early this season but pitched himself into a demotion to Triple-A
:  Colorado Springs. Possibly closer to being ready for ninth-inning work is
:  onetime Tigers top pick Matt Anderson, who has been the closer for Colorado
:  Springs.

改天這個選擇很快會是 Scott Dohmann，他在本季初期擔任了一些九局的工作，
但是投球的結果讓他被降到了 AAA Colorado Strings。
可能的終結者一度挑選了 Matt Anderson，他之前已經為 Colorado Springs
擔任終結者。

PS: Colorado Springs 是代表洛磯隊的 AAA 球隊嗎？
    Tigers top pick Matt Anderson 這段看不太懂。
