其實很明顯第一種說法只是胡鬧用的
有人反應扯到種族太敏感,態度也不好
當然這是有道理的,尤其與外國人談話時
不過我所謂語言本身沒有態度問題
更沒有歧視的問題,端看你在什麼場合對什麼人說
我自己的例子
我認識個美國女性白人,但她可能常做日光浴
膚色比我還深,有次我們在哈拉時她問我:Why don't you like me?
我說: I don't like you, because you are not white.
so, 妳覺得她會跑去告我種族歧視還是就此跟我翻臉?
of course not
However, 她卻可能跟別人翻臉只因為別人稱呼她lady
因為她是個feminist, 對她來說"lady" 反應gender stereotype
語言和文字本身沒有主觀涵義
只有使用它的人賦予它涵義,它才有正面或負面的意義
