我用中文打好了，
雖然我的中打慢很多，
但是可以讓比較多人看得懂。

讓我們先回到原發文者所提問的問題本身，
原問題是針對「熱鬧」一詞在英文中的表達用法。
當然有許多答案，
其中有板友給了「people are hustling and bustling」的用法，
我提出了「hustle and bustle」只作名詞使用的看法。

在這之前，
我們好像還有很多的討論。
今天外面天氣很冷，
中午只有攝氏零下十四度，
因此在不想出門的情況下，
我只能在家裡撥電話問朋友這個問題了。

我問了兩個朋友，
一男一女：
二十和三十來歲的美國白人，
生長在西岸和中西部大湖區，
畢業於柯柏聯盟學院（Cooper Union）和伊利諾大學厄巴納香檳分校（U of I）。
他們和在台灣接受教育直到大學，
來美國才一年五個月的我相比應該可信度更高。;I

他們給我的答案也是沒有人將這個片語當動詞使用，
而是當成像形容詞用的「名詞」（用英文的表達邏輯）；
不論要表達哪一個地方的「熱鬧」，
市集（台灣夜市）或城市的「熱鬧、喧鬧」等都是。
即便描述「熱鬧的城市」（中文的表達邏輯），
也仍是使用名詞「hustle and bustle」。
反之，
當使用「people hustle and bustle」又是另一個意思了，
不是形容某區域地點熱鬧，
而是形容人，
並且已經是兩個獨立的動詞了。
我讀了一下板友給的Google books連結，
文章內容描述的大概就是像我說的這樣。

我的朋友們奇怪我為甚麼問這樣的問題，
因為這是很簡單的英文，
真的不須要想太多。

這些主要都說明了「hustle and bustle」當名詞形容「熱鬧」的氣氛，
連結ㄅ是線上不知名字典，
連結ㄆ是母語為西班牙語系的人對該片語的誤用，
連結ㄌ是一位自稱來自密西根州的網友對該片語當名詞使用的解釋。

雖然我從小就說英文，
但因著在台灣長大，
所以也有不少英文字我不認識的，
我很高興可以在這個板和大家討論英文。
但因著我以為我當時應該沒有寫出類似攻擊性的用語，
所以我不太喜歡少數板友不友善的措辭。
若是一直讓人感覺兇兇的話，
我不太敢再來這裡了。=I
