我心中還有個疑問...

slang跟idiom到底有什麼不一樣的地方...

根據偉博大字典...
slang:
an informal nonstandard vocabulary composed typically of
coinages, arbitrarily changed words, and extravagant,
forced, or facetious figures of speech

idiom字義則是：
an expression in the usage of a language that is peculiar
to itself either grammatically (as no, it wasn't me) or
in having a meaning that cannot be derived from the conjoined
meanings of its elements (as Monday week for "the Monday a
week after next Monday")
