我一直以為這兩字是一樣的意思，都是指"興趣"
今天才認真一點思考兩者的不同。
查了Merriam-Webster
hobby
a pursuit outside one's regular occupation engaged in especially for
relaxation
interest
a : a feeling that accompanies or causes special attention to an object or
class of objects: CONCERN
b : something that arouses such attention
c : a quality in a thing arousing interest
interest的意思似乎比較多，包含了對某件事物引起注意。比如說，我對某類新聞很感
興趣，應該是interest。是指說引起注意力的才叫做interest?那如果在中文中，我們
問到對方：你的興趣是什麼？對方回答：打球、看書。這裡的興趣應該用什麼字呢？只
能用hobby，不能用interest?
恩，簡而言之，我想問hobby和interest的不同.......
