Sensible 與 sentient 的差別建議從英文解釋英文的觀點來區隔，也就是要參考英英辭
典，大意如下：
Sensible: able to make good judgements based on reason and experience rather
than emotion; practical
以中文來解釋是，「理性的，實際的」。
這字還有其他幾層涵義，可以再參考英英辭典。
Sentient: able to see or feel things through the senses
這個才是比較接近「有知覺的」解釋。
實際例句也請看看，比較能掌握意義。
nonsensical 是從 nonsense 演變而來的，而 nonsense 從 non + sense 演變而來。
Nonsense 出現在十七世紀初，後來幾乎已成獨立的字，不像其他字，前面加上 non- 變
成否定。
Nonsensical 直接從 nonsense 演變出來，大約發生在十七世紀中期。
Sensical 這個字不是沒有，大約存在十八世紀末到十九世紀中期，現在已經不再使用，
而它的定義就是現在的 sensible。語言是活的，歷史上出現過的字或用法有可能現在已
經沒人使用，就像 last morning 表示 yesterday morning，現在也都走入歷史，但
Shakespeare 的作品裡就出現過幾次 last morning。
這些歷史遺跡，在強調 contemporary English 的辭典裡是查不到的。
