首先 兩者詞性不相同
prone是形容詞 tend是動詞
再者
prone是指容易發生某事 發生這件事的門檻很低或條件很容易達成
而如同原推文者所說 這事大多不是正面的
而且 be prone to 後面除了接另一個動詞外
其實也可以直接接名詞
ex. He was prone to illness when he was young.
而tend的意思 更傾向於一種頻率的描述
說 tend to V 是說常常發生
ex. It tends to rain heavily in the afternoon here.
其實兩者真的很接近 對照中文的話就更難分了
