請問confirm與certify的差異
我找了Longman線上字典的解釋，但還是有些模糊
confirm: to show something is definitely true, especially by providing
more proof.
certify: to state that something is correct or true, especially after
some kind of test.
下面這個考題，也煩請大家幫我看一下
The result of the research __________ hypothesis established by Dr.keat
at the Graduate School of Harvard University.
公佈的答案為cofirmed, 為何不能使用certified?
