[字辨] as since because for 的分別

例如以下這個句子

The day broke, ____ the birds were beginning to sing.
a. since
b. as
c. because
d. for


答案是 d

查了一些資料, 以乎是說 because 比較注重直接原因等等,
所以這題不能用 c
但是概念還是很模糊, 而且 b 又為什麼不對?

推 asdsasd123:我覺得  1,2,3的意思都是有解釋/原因的感覺  如果用123

尤其是最下面那兩句
The ground is wet, for (=because) it rained last night.
地面是溼的，因為昨晚下過雨。
It must have rained last night, for the ground is wet this morning.
昨晚一定下過雨，你看今天早上地面是溼的。 (此句不能用 because 代 for)
