標題[字辨]intension等同於intensity?

The last provision in the contract states that if either party
determines it is in his best interest to cancel the contract, he is
obligated to inform the other immediately of his intension.
在合約(狀態,情況)中的最後一條規定(或條款)，如果兩方只要有一方為了自己本身
的利益而決定中止合約，決定中止條約的那一方有義務立即去通知另一方…
(以上中譯是我自己翻的)
1.問題出現在of his intension 是要拿來修飾哪個地方?
2. 我查網路上的資料得到intension不是慣用字，他說intension等同於intensity?
意思是說intensity比較常用!
