意思是 由...組成
ex: The medical team was made up of twelve doctors.

1.接近
ex: He made up to us.
2.巴結
ex: Jack tried to make up to his boss.

這雖然中文意思是補償、賠償
但是用法是 compensate (someone) for (something)
所以要用compensate for
ex: We compensate workers for injuries suffered at their work.
