[文法] 加不加the

[dgas (痛到睡不著)]

我剛查longman comtemporary english的字典時(光碟)
發現了一個例句:As he explained, another piece of the jigsaw
fell into place."
我的想法是place前面加個the...不知道正確與否
麻煩大家幫我解答一下
