查了幾本字典(包括搭配辭典)和一些收集來的資料，
恕我沒有看到"be late to + 地方"的用法....
late後面加上to的例子都是不同的結構，例子如下：
1. By that time it may be too late to get into the market place with the
product.
2. To this extent, Soviet foreign traders, who came late to the Latin
American markets, may be disadvantaged in their competition with capitalist
suppliers either because their own authorities prevent them from
participating in the bidding for a project or because they cannot mobilise
the Soviet bureaucracy in time to meet deadlines.
1.裡面的to是不定詞的to，不是介係詞，純粹跟後面的動詞"get"一起出現；
2.裡面的late是副詞，to雖然是介係詞，卻是跟著前面動詞"come"一起....
根據個人能夠找到late後面加to的例子就是上面兩種，
這都不是"be late"搭配介係詞to的用法....
原PO說在書上看到He is always late to school的用法，
這一點實在令人困惑，不知是否能夠PO出原句，以及註明出處呢？謝謝~
我想如果能夠將原句及出處PO出，才是真正有助於我們對於英語的了解...
