這裡的for是跟在quarried. for的補雨勢limestone.
or you can put the sentence in this way:
"We" have quarried for limestone to use it as a building stone.
Since the agent who completes the action is unclear, the sentence is wriiten
in the passive form. So it turns into "Limestone has been quarried for to use
as a building stone."
