問一句好像是諺語的翻譯

[preacher (誰能是我的避風的港口?)]

我最近讀到一個句子:  "Everyone gets their due."

請問這是一個諺語嗎?
因為我從文章的上下文推敲不太出他的意思
所以想來這裡請教各位先進板友

另外再請教一個句子:

Reading the words "tears are rolling down my face as a write this" does
not capture the aching of an old man or a toddler who is heard of weeping
in trying to say goodbye to a beloved.

我不懂的地方是"capture the aching of an old man........"
之後這裡該是怎麼翻譯較好呢?
我猜整句話大致上意思應該是:讀到"像眼淚滑下我臉龐"這樣的句子是很矯情之類的
請問我這樣的猜測對嗎?
