若單就"居然"二字來說：
should --> 通常跟intend, desire, demand, be anxious等形容詞
或動詞之後的that連用,表達一定程度的訝異、遺憾、當然等情緒
ex. It's odd that you should invite him. (很奇怪你居然邀請他)
ex. It's a pity that he should lose the game. (真可惜他竟然輸了這比賽)
若就"居然敢"來說,那就是"How dare"
how come 是等於 why ,只是在詢問人家原因而已, 沒有什麼威脅感
