的確, 剛查了一下, 要看定義為何
Television audiences are counted numerous ways. The most familiar
is ratings, which count the number of all television sets in the
United States tuned to a given program. Share is the percentage
of just those sets in use at a given time tuned in to a program.
Viewership is ratings converted into the number of people actually
estimated to be watching, taking account of the fact that often
more than one person is watching a given set.
照這個定義, 百分比的收視率 = share
不過 TV ratings 還有別的用法
常見的是電視內容的分級制度 (美國常用的 PG, MA 等等)
