我明年要考GRE
需要背大量的字彙
我希望大家能推薦字彙難度較高的書
來刺激我的單字記憶
像我有讀過Moby Dick(白鯨記)
文章用了極多漂亮文法和句型
但這本的單字難度在GRE就太低了
我希望單字能夠較難的小說
像是"歌劇媚影"原英文小說...
另外
以下是101本被推薦的經典名著
分別是作者 書名
如果大家有讀過哪幾本
覺得很棒的
也希望能夠推薦 ^^
例如推文or彩色標明等等...
有些是極有名的經典名著...有些我就不很清楚

我個人覺得
看小說對於準備GRE是沒有用的
因為GRE的文章通常是某些專業科目中的入門的文章
完全和文學扯不上邊
所以會有很多單字
建議
如果你真的想準備
可以讀TIME
但是不是前面那些時事的報導
而是後面那一大堆的藝術,科技,科學的簡介
如果你真的行有餘力
New Yorker也會是個好選擇
當初準備GRE時
一直對於GRE裡面常常出現的女權種族運動的來龍去脈
搞不清楚
有去借過一本美國MIT大一歷史通論的指定用書
這對於了解美國社會文化史
倒是有點小幫助
