Well, I've been wondering these days...
How I feverishly pursue knowledge and novelty.
After I took American culture and society class, I realize my view of the
world is so narrow and small. How clumsy I am!
Over the past weeks I read about Augusto Pinochet, Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile
Crisis, Bushfire raging over Australia forests, Iran's denial of Jewish
Holocaust and so on...so many things around me.
I feel responsibility surrouded me and from then on when I go home, I won't
just sit in front of TV and watch disgusting news forged by Taiwanese media
any more, instead, I want to know what actually happens in the world.
I am too small to reach the world. So I need to actively be informed what's
going on. Take the initiative as I did before.
Taiwan is not the only country on earth, for heaven's sake!
How I wish to find someone who actively seeks news and knowledge like me.
Maybe most people need steady lives, but I don't.
Since I was endowed with the some sort of sense of mission, I will try hard.
Perhaps someday I could change the world a little bit more.
