※ 引述《jackypig (真的會被操死XD)》之銘言: : I always take a walk around the stairs when I get a little tired of working. : Today, just like usual days, : The simulation of camera system design didn't work out as I expected. : Therefore, I decided to take some exercise to relax my spirit. : Again, I went to walk up and down the stairs several times. : When I almost finished the last round, I took two footsteps a time to hurry : up to the floor where I worked at. Suddenly, it came into my mind... : How much energy I use when I take two footsteps a time? : Will it be larger than the amount when I take one footstep a time? : If yes, can I use this way to lose more weight in the same distance I walk? : That is really interesting..... The total amount of energy used remains more or less the same. However, running up two steps of stairs at a time does require more power. Don't quote on me, but I seem to recall that when the body needs energy fast, it burns glycogen instead of fat. Not what you really want if you are trying to lose fat. Walking briskly, not so fast that you are panting shortly after you start, will probably burn more fat. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 24.83.114.56
