Tonight I hit on a foreigner, a student reading Chinese textbook at
MRT station on my way home. There we had a small talk and she told me
that she was from UCLA and is learning Chinese in language center
in NTU for the time being so as to understand Chinese history, which
is her major.
This is the first time I screwed up my nerve to have a chat with foreigners,
and it's really a good experience for she showed kindness toward me and
thus proved that my friends said foreigners are mostly friendly and
amiable is the truth.
