frankly speaking, this sounds like more boasting than complaining. you spent most of your time living in an english-speaking environment, and now you are back, pointing out how you can't maintain your english fluency because of the lack of english speaking opportunity in taiwan. why don't you think about how to benefit students in taiwan who need someone experienced enough in learning english to guide? why don't you think about helping those students who really want to improve their english oral abilities by practicing with someone really good at english? and if you were not blaming these students, why did you show your condescending gesture in refering to the predicament you met when doing oral practice with them? well~ i don't want to be full of criticism without making constructive advice as well. so i am offering you an idea to solve your difficulty: if money is not your main concern, (which i guess not, for you had been able to afford a life aborad for so long), why not hiring a foreigner living in taiwan as your tutor. i guess they will be more interested in your tuition than girls ^^ yours sincerely -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.171.148.61
